How to uninstall qemu-guest-agent from Ubuntu

Uninstall qemu-guest-agent

To uninstall just qemu-guest-agent package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove qemu-guest-agent

Uninstall qemu-guest-agent and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the qemu-guest-agent package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove qemu-guest-agent

Purging qemu-guest-agent

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of qemu-guest-agent from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge qemu-guest-agent

To delete configuration and/or data files of qemu-guest-agent and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge qemu-guest-agent
