How to uninstall python3-mapnik from Ubuntu

Uninstall python3-mapnik

To uninstall just python3-mapnik package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove python3-mapnik

Uninstall python3-mapnik and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the python3-mapnik package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove python3-mapnik

Purging python3-mapnik

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of python3-mapnik from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge python3-mapnik

To delete configuration and/or data files of python3-mapnik and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge python3-mapnik
