How to uninstall python2-serpent from Ubuntu

Uninstall python2-serpent

To uninstall just python2-serpent package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove python2-serpent

Uninstall python2-serpent and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the python2-serpent package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove python2-serpent

Purging python2-serpent

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of python2-serpent from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge python2-serpent

To delete configuration and/or data files of python2-serpent and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge python2-serpent
