How to uninstall piuparts-common from Ubuntu

Uninstall piuparts-common

To uninstall just piuparts-common package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove piuparts-common

Uninstall piuparts-common and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the piuparts-common package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove piuparts-common

Purging piuparts-common

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of piuparts-common from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge piuparts-common

To delete configuration and/or data files of piuparts-common and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge piuparts-common
