How to uninstall php5-ldap from Ubuntu

Uninstall php5-ldap

To uninstall just php5-ldap package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove php5-ldap

Uninstall php5-ldap and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the php5-ldap package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove php5-ldap

Purging php5-ldap

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of php5-ldap from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge php5-ldap

To delete configuration and/or data files of php5-ldap and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge php5-ldap
