How to uninstall pcl-tools from Ubuntu

Uninstall pcl-tools

To uninstall just pcl-tools package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove pcl-tools

Uninstall pcl-tools and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the pcl-tools package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove pcl-tools

Purging pcl-tools

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of pcl-tools from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge pcl-tools

To delete configuration and/or data files of pcl-tools and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge pcl-tools
