How to uninstall omniorb-idl from Ubuntu

Uninstall omniorb-idl

To uninstall just omniorb-idl package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove omniorb-idl

Uninstall omniorb-idl and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the omniorb-idl package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove omniorb-idl

Purging omniorb-idl

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of omniorb-idl from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge omniorb-idl

To delete configuration and/or data files of omniorb-idl and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge omniorb-idl
