How to uninstall mingw32 from Ubuntu

Uninstall mingw32

To uninstall just mingw32 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove mingw32

Uninstall mingw32 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the mingw32 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove mingw32

Purging mingw32

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of mingw32 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge mingw32

To delete configuration and/or data files of mingw32 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge mingw32
