How to uninstall maxima-share from Ubuntu

Uninstall maxima-share

To uninstall just maxima-share package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove maxima-share

Uninstall maxima-share and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the maxima-share package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove maxima-share

Purging maxima-share

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of maxima-share from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge maxima-share

To delete configuration and/or data files of maxima-share and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge maxima-share
