How to uninstall mate-control-center-dbg from Ubuntu

Uninstall mate-control-center-dbg

To uninstall just mate-control-center-dbg package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove mate-control-center-dbg

Uninstall mate-control-center-dbg and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the mate-control-center-dbg package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove mate-control-center-dbg

Purging mate-control-center-dbg

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of mate-control-center-dbg from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge mate-control-center-dbg

To delete configuration and/or data files of mate-control-center-dbg and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge mate-control-center-dbg
