How to uninstall mailutils-pop3d from Ubuntu

Uninstall mailutils-pop3d

To uninstall just mailutils-pop3d package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove mailutils-pop3d

Uninstall mailutils-pop3d and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the mailutils-pop3d package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove mailutils-pop3d

Purging mailutils-pop3d

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of mailutils-pop3d from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge mailutils-pop3d

To delete configuration and/or data files of mailutils-pop3d and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge mailutils-pop3d
