How to uninstall lxsession-edit from Ubuntu

Uninstall lxsession-edit

To uninstall just lxsession-edit package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove lxsession-edit

Uninstall lxsession-edit and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the lxsession-edit package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove lxsession-edit

Purging lxsession-edit

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of lxsession-edit from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge lxsession-edit

To delete configuration and/or data files of lxsession-edit and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge lxsession-edit
