How to uninstall lustre-utils from Ubuntu

Uninstall lustre-utils

To uninstall just lustre-utils package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove lustre-utils

Uninstall lustre-utils and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the lustre-utils package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove lustre-utils

Purging lustre-utils

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of lustre-utils from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge lustre-utils

To delete configuration and/or data files of lustre-utils and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge lustre-utils
