How to uninstall linux-headers-preempt from Ubuntu

Uninstall linux-headers-preempt

To uninstall just linux-headers-preempt package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove linux-headers-preempt

Uninstall linux-headers-preempt and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the linux-headers-preempt package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove linux-headers-preempt

Purging linux-headers-preempt

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of linux-headers-preempt from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge linux-headers-preempt

To delete configuration and/or data files of linux-headers-preempt and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge linux-headers-preempt
