How to uninstall lightdm-webkit-greeter from Ubuntu

Uninstall lightdm-webkit-greeter

To uninstall just lightdm-webkit-greeter package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove lightdm-webkit-greeter

Uninstall lightdm-webkit-greeter and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the lightdm-webkit-greeter package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove lightdm-webkit-greeter

Purging lightdm-webkit-greeter

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of lightdm-webkit-greeter from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge lightdm-webkit-greeter

To delete configuration and/or data files of lightdm-webkit-greeter and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge lightdm-webkit-greeter
