How to uninstall liferea-xulrunner from Ubuntu

Uninstall liferea-xulrunner

To uninstall just liferea-xulrunner package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove liferea-xulrunner

Uninstall liferea-xulrunner and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the liferea-xulrunner package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove liferea-xulrunner

Purging liferea-xulrunner

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of liferea-xulrunner from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge liferea-xulrunner

To delete configuration and/or data files of liferea-xulrunner and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge liferea-xulrunner

liferea-xulrunner package information

name liferea-xulrunner
section gnome

transitional dummy package

This is a dummy package to ease transition from previous versions of liferea. It can be safely removed from your system.
