How to uninstall libyaz3-dev from Ubuntu

Uninstall libyaz3-dev

To uninstall just libyaz3-dev package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libyaz3-dev

Uninstall libyaz3-dev and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libyaz3-dev package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libyaz3-dev

Purging libyaz3-dev

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libyaz3-dev from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libyaz3-dev

To delete configuration and/or data files of libyaz3-dev and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libyaz3-dev
