How to uninstall libxine2-misc-plugins from Ubuntu

Uninstall libxine2-misc-plugins

To uninstall just libxine2-misc-plugins package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libxine2-misc-plugins

Uninstall libxine2-misc-plugins and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libxine2-misc-plugins package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libxine2-misc-plugins

Purging libxine2-misc-plugins

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libxine2-misc-plugins from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libxine2-misc-plugins

To delete configuration and/or data files of libxine2-misc-plugins and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libxine2-misc-plugins
