How to uninstall libvtk5.2-qt4 from Ubuntu

Uninstall libvtk5.2-qt4

To uninstall just libvtk5.2-qt4 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libvtk5.2-qt4

Uninstall libvtk5.2-qt4 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libvtk5.2-qt4 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libvtk5.2-qt4

Purging libvtk5.2-qt4

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libvtk5.2-qt4 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libvtk5.2-qt4

To delete configuration and/or data files of libvtk5.2-qt4 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libvtk5.2-qt4
