How to uninstall libgetopt-tabular-perl from Ubuntu

Uninstall libgetopt-tabular-perl

To uninstall just libgetopt-tabular-perl package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libgetopt-tabular-perl

Uninstall libgetopt-tabular-perl and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libgetopt-tabular-perl package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libgetopt-tabular-perl

Purging libgetopt-tabular-perl

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libgetopt-tabular-perl from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libgetopt-tabular-perl

To delete configuration and/or data files of libgetopt-tabular-perl and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libgetopt-tabular-perl
