How to uninstall libfreeimageplus-dev from Ubuntu

Uninstall libfreeimageplus-dev

To uninstall just libfreeimageplus-dev package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libfreeimageplus-dev

Uninstall libfreeimageplus-dev and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libfreeimageplus-dev package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libfreeimageplus-dev

Purging libfreeimageplus-dev

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libfreeimageplus-dev from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libfreeimageplus-dev

To delete configuration and/or data files of libfreeimageplus-dev and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libfreeimageplus-dev
