How to uninstall libfftw3-quad3 from Ubuntu

Uninstall libfftw3-quad3

To uninstall just libfftw3-quad3 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libfftw3-quad3

Uninstall libfftw3-quad3 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libfftw3-quad3 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libfftw3-quad3

Purging libfftw3-quad3

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libfftw3-quad3 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libfftw3-quad3

To delete configuration and/or data files of libfftw3-quad3 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libfftw3-quad3
