How to uninstall libeigen3-dev from Ubuntu

Uninstall libeigen3-dev

To uninstall just libeigen3-dev package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libeigen3-dev

Uninstall libeigen3-dev and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libeigen3-dev package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libeigen3-dev

Purging libeigen3-dev

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libeigen3-dev from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libeigen3-dev

To delete configuration and/or data files of libeigen3-dev and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libeigen3-dev
