How to uninstall libdvbpsi6 from Ubuntu

Uninstall libdvbpsi6

To uninstall just libdvbpsi6 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libdvbpsi6

Uninstall libdvbpsi6 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libdvbpsi6 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libdvbpsi6

Purging libdvbpsi6

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libdvbpsi6 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libdvbpsi6

To delete configuration and/or data files of libdvbpsi6 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libdvbpsi6
