How to uninstall libdiet-dagda2.8-dev from Ubuntu

Uninstall libdiet-dagda2.8-dev

To uninstall just libdiet-dagda2.8-dev package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libdiet-dagda2.8-dev

Uninstall libdiet-dagda2.8-dev and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libdiet-dagda2.8-dev package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libdiet-dagda2.8-dev

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libdiet-dagda2.8-dev from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libdiet-dagda2.8-dev

To delete configuration and/or data files of libdiet-dagda2.8-dev and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libdiet-dagda2.8-dev
