How to uninstall libcv-dev from Ubuntu

Uninstall libcv-dev

To uninstall just libcv-dev package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libcv-dev

Uninstall libcv-dev and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libcv-dev package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libcv-dev

Purging libcv-dev

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libcv-dev from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libcv-dev

To delete configuration and/or data files of libcv-dev and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libcv-dev
