How to uninstall libcompass-ruby from Ubuntu

Uninstall libcompass-ruby

To uninstall just libcompass-ruby package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libcompass-ruby

Uninstall libcompass-ruby and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libcompass-ruby package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libcompass-ruby

Purging libcompass-ruby

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libcompass-ruby from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libcompass-ruby

To delete configuration and/or data files of libcompass-ruby and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libcompass-ruby
