How to uninstall libcanberra-doc from Ubuntu

Uninstall libcanberra-doc

To uninstall just libcanberra-doc package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libcanberra-doc

Uninstall libcanberra-doc and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libcanberra-doc package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libcanberra-doc

Purging libcanberra-doc

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libcanberra-doc from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libcanberra-doc

To delete configuration and/or data files of libcanberra-doc and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libcanberra-doc
