How to uninstall libcaca-dev from Ubuntu

Uninstall libcaca-dev

To uninstall just libcaca-dev package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libcaca-dev

Uninstall libcaca-dev and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libcaca-dev package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libcaca-dev

Purging libcaca-dev

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libcaca-dev from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libcaca-dev

To delete configuration and/or data files of libcaca-dev and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libcaca-dev
