How to uninstall libc6-pic from Ubuntu

Uninstall libc6-pic

To uninstall just libc6-pic package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libc6-pic

Uninstall libc6-pic and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libc6-pic package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libc6-pic

Purging libc6-pic

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libc6-pic from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libc6-pic

To delete configuration and/or data files of libc6-pic and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libc6-pic
