How to uninstall libblkid1-dbg from Ubuntu

Uninstall libblkid1-dbg

To uninstall just libblkid1-dbg package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libblkid1-dbg

Uninstall libblkid1-dbg and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libblkid1-dbg package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libblkid1-dbg

Purging libblkid1-dbg

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libblkid1-dbg from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libblkid1-dbg

To delete configuration and/or data files of libblkid1-dbg and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libblkid1-dbg

Debugging information for libblkid1

This package includes the debug information useful for debugging the blkid library, contained in the libblkid1 package. The debug information is used for execution tracing and core dump analysis.
