How to uninstall libbamtools2.3.0 from Ubuntu

Uninstall libbamtools2.3.0

To uninstall just libbamtools2.3.0 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libbamtools2.3.0

Uninstall libbamtools2.3.0 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libbamtools2.3.0 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libbamtools2.3.0

Purging libbamtools2.3.0

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libbamtools2.3.0 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libbamtools2.3.0

To delete configuration and/or data files of libbamtools2.3.0 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:
