How to uninstall libavifile-0.7-dev from Ubuntu

Uninstall libavifile-0.7-dev

To uninstall just libavifile-0.7-dev package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libavifile-0.7-dev

Uninstall libavifile-0.7-dev and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libavifile-0.7-dev package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libavifile-0.7-dev

Purging libavifile-0.7-dev

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libavifile-0.7-dev from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libavifile-0.7-dev

To delete configuration and/or data files of libavifile-0.7-dev and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libavifile-0.7-dev
