How to uninstall libav-extra-dbg from Ubuntu

Uninstall libav-extra-dbg

To uninstall just libav-extra-dbg package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libav-extra-dbg

Uninstall libav-extra-dbg and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libav-extra-dbg package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libav-extra-dbg

Purging libav-extra-dbg

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libav-extra-dbg from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libav-extra-dbg

To delete configuration and/or data files of libav-extra-dbg and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libav-extra-dbg
