How to uninstall libasound2-plugins-extra from Ubuntu

Uninstall libasound2-plugins-extra

To uninstall just libasound2-plugins-extra package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libasound2-plugins-extra

Uninstall libasound2-plugins-extra and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libasound2-plugins-extra package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libasound2-plugins-extra

Purging libasound2-plugins-extra

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libasound2-plugins-extra from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libasound2-plugins-extra

To delete configuration and/or data files of libasound2-plugins-extra and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libasound2-plugins-extra
