How to uninstall libasis2008 from Ubuntu

Uninstall libasis2008

To uninstall just libasis2008 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libasis2008

Uninstall libasis2008 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libasis2008 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libasis2008

Purging libasis2008

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libasis2008 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libasis2008

To delete configuration and/or data files of libasis2008 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libasis2008
