How to uninstall libafterstep1 from Ubuntu

Uninstall libafterstep1

To uninstall just libafterstep1 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove libafterstep1

Uninstall libafterstep1 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the libafterstep1 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove libafterstep1

Purging libafterstep1

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of libafterstep1 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge libafterstep1

To delete configuration and/or data files of libafterstep1 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge libafterstep1
