How to uninstall cyrus-clients from Ubuntu

Uninstall cyrus-clients

To uninstall just cyrus-clients package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cyrus-clients

Uninstall cyrus-clients and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cyrus-clients package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cyrus-clients

Purging cyrus-clients

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cyrus-clients from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cyrus-clients

To delete configuration and/or data files of cyrus-clients and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cyrus-clients

section mail
