How to uninstall cvs-syncmail from Ubuntu

Uninstall cvs-syncmail

To uninstall just cvs-syncmail package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cvs-syncmail

Uninstall cvs-syncmail and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cvs-syncmail package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cvs-syncmail

Purging cvs-syncmail

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cvs-syncmail from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cvs-syncmail

To delete configuration and/or data files of cvs-syncmail and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cvs-syncmail
