How to uninstall cupsys-dbg from Ubuntu

Uninstall cupsys-dbg

To uninstall just cupsys-dbg package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cupsys-dbg

Uninstall cupsys-dbg and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cupsys-dbg package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cupsys-dbg

Purging cupsys-dbg

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cupsys-dbg from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cupsys-dbg

To delete configuration and/or data files of cupsys-dbg and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cupsys-dbg

Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)

This is a dummy package to ease transition to new package name. You can safely remove it after the upgrade.
