How to uninstall compiz-kde from Ubuntu

Uninstall compiz-kde

To uninstall just compiz-kde package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove compiz-kde

Uninstall compiz-kde and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the compiz-kde package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove compiz-kde

Purging compiz-kde

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of compiz-kde from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge compiz-kde

To delete configuration and/or data files of compiz-kde and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge compiz-kde
