How to uninstall claws-mail-tools from Ubuntu

Uninstall claws-mail-tools

To uninstall just claws-mail-tools package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove claws-mail-tools

Uninstall claws-mail-tools and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the claws-mail-tools package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove claws-mail-tools

Purging claws-mail-tools

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of claws-mail-tools from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge claws-mail-tools

To delete configuration and/or data files of claws-mail-tools and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge claws-mail-tools
