How to uninstall classmate-initramfs from Ubuntu

Uninstall classmate-initramfs

To uninstall just classmate-initramfs package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove classmate-initramfs

Uninstall classmate-initramfs and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the classmate-initramfs package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove classmate-initramfs

Purging classmate-initramfs

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of classmate-initramfs from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge classmate-initramfs

To delete configuration and/or data files of classmate-initramfs and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge classmate-initramfs
