How to uninstall cinnamon-settings-daemon from Ubuntu

Uninstall cinnamon-settings-daemon

To uninstall just cinnamon-settings-daemon package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cinnamon-settings-daemon

Uninstall cinnamon-settings-daemon and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cinnamon-settings-daemon package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cinnamon-settings-daemon

Purging cinnamon-settings-daemon

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cinnamon-settings-daemon from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cinnamon-settings-daemon

To delete configuration and/or data files of cinnamon-settings-daemon and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cinnamon-settings-daemon
