How to uninstall cinnamon-session from Ubuntu

Uninstall cinnamon-session

To uninstall just cinnamon-session package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cinnamon-session

Uninstall cinnamon-session and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cinnamon-session package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cinnamon-session

Purging cinnamon-session

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cinnamon-session from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cinnamon-session

To delete configuration and/or data files of cinnamon-session and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cinnamon-session
