How to uninstall cinder-volume from Ubuntu

Uninstall cinder-volume

To uninstall just cinder-volume package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cinder-volume

Uninstall cinder-volume and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cinder-volume package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cinder-volume

Purging cinder-volume

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cinder-volume from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cinder-volume

To delete configuration and/or data files of cinder-volume and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cinder-volume
