How to uninstall ceilometer-polling from Ubuntu

Uninstall ceilometer-polling

To uninstall just ceilometer-polling package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove ceilometer-polling

Uninstall ceilometer-polling and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the ceilometer-polling package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove ceilometer-polling

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of ceilometer-polling from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge ceilometer-polling

To delete configuration and/or data files of ceilometer-polling and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge ceilometer-polling
