How to uninstall cdrw-taper from Ubuntu

Uninstall cdrw-taper

To uninstall just cdrw-taper package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cdrw-taper

Uninstall cdrw-taper and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cdrw-taper package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cdrw-taper

Purging cdrw-taper

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cdrw-taper from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cdrw-taper

To delete configuration and/or data files of cdrw-taper and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cdrw-taper
