How to uninstall cdrbq from Ubuntu

Uninstall cdrbq

To uninstall just cdrbq package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cdrbq

Uninstall cdrbq and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cdrbq package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cdrbq

Purging cdrbq

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cdrbq from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cdrbq

To delete configuration and/or data files of cdrbq and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cdrbq

cdrbq is a nice GUI for burning CDs. It is written in TCL and is very userfriendly. The old name of cdrbq was cdrtoaster, the developers decided some time ago to change the name.
