How to uninstall cantor-backend-python2 from Ubuntu

Uninstall cantor-backend-python2

To uninstall just cantor-backend-python2 package itself from Ubuntu execute on terminal:

sudo apt-get remove cantor-backend-python2

Uninstall cantor-backend-python2 and it's dependent packages

To uninstall the cantor-backend-python2 package and any other dependant package which are no longer needed on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get autoremove cantor-backend-python2

Purging cantor-backend-python2

If you also want to delete configuration and/or data files of cantor-backend-python2 from Ubuntu then this will work:

sudo apt-get purge cantor-backend-python2

To delete configuration and/or data files of cantor-backend-python2 and it's dependencies from Ubuntu then execute:

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge cantor-backend-python2
